Midnight Walk Success Story
At midnight on Saturday 17th July over 500 brave ladies set out from Aylesbury College for a 6 or 12 mile walk around Aylesbury on a cool (but dry) night. Congratulations and hearty thanks to them and all their supporters, and the volunteers who supported the event. Provisional estimates of the amount raised from entry fees and sponsorship pledges indicate that the Hospice Charity will benefit to around £50,000.
Thanks not only to the walkers and their sponsors but to all the individuals, organisations and companies who helped before, on or since the night. These include:
Aylesbury College, AVCT, Cycle Aylesbury, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Bluepepper Designs, SPAR Meadow Way, Parrott & Coales LLP, Wycombe Timber Packaging, Cotton Wheel Pub, Danny Tomlinson of Personal Training Centre, Phil Gomm of Mayhem Productions, Corporate Document Services, Fresh Design & Print, United Biscuits, Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness Club, Costco, Aylesbury Town Council, Motts Travel plus Local Freemason’s, Rotarians, Scouts, Partners of Walkers, Trustees and Staff.
